Angela Reyes grew up watching her mother transform neighbors' confidence one haircut at a time in their small Calexico home. That spark never left her. After earning her cosmetology license and spending years refining her craft in salons across Southern California, Angela came home to El Centro with a simple dream: open a salon where every person — regardless of hair type, budget, or background — felt genuinely cared for. Style's & Smiles opened its doors on N Imperial Ave over a decade ago, and it has been a beloved neighborhood institution ever since.
Angela and her team of licensed stylists bring real credentials and ongoing education to every appointment. From mastering the latest balayage techniques to staying current on curl-care science, the team at Style's & Smiles invests in their skills so clients always receive a modern, expert experience. The salon is fully licensed with the California Board of Barbering and Cosmetology, and every product used on-site meets professional-grade safety and quality standards.

Me and my daughter received excellent service. The first time I visited, I was a walk in and Angela was my stylist. Right away she was welcoming and She felt like a familiar friend. I was happy with the trim and cut I received so I brought in my 8 year old daughter twice. 1 for a cut and the 2nd time for some beautiful red streaks in her hair. My daughter felt comfortable and Angela who is a mom also made sure to make her feel beautiful. I think this is the place we will be always coming back to when we need it!

10/10 for my first time experience! Michelle was my hairstylist and it was obvious they are passionate about doing hair. Since I have curly hair and wanted to switch up my look, it was very reassuring whenever Michelle would guide me through every process they'd be doing on my hair.
